New for 2018
We're mixing things up a bit this year and running the event on a Saturday instead of what has traditionally been a Sunday - this means we can hold a ceilidh in the evening as well (and no one has to go to work on Monday with a sore head!) Also, its earlier in October to avoid the school holidays so hopefully more people will get involved in the fun.
'great hospitality and a lot of talented artists'
'Best wee festival'
10 venues, 22 performances - all in a single afternoon. And it's FREE!
Gluren bij de Buren ('Peeking in on the neighbours') is a concept borrowed from the Netherlands. A local community of like-minded people open their houses for an afternoon of performances - music, story-telling, comedy sketches.
Members of the public, armed with a map and a list of what's on, stroll around the neighbourhood and select which houses and performances they wish to see.
Now in it's sixth year!
